Weaver is the first room when the book exists in pieces. Bring the whole pile at once. Linnea, the editor, reads what arrived and proposes a shape across all of it. She reads quietly on your device as you work, and nothing leaves unless you ask for her wider reading.

The spine, in reading order. It begins with the opening and lengthens as the Book takes shape.
World
The people, places, objects, and threads the Book knows, connected to the scenes that establish them.
Library
What you brought in, every retained revision, and any writing not yet placed. A source can leave, too: open it and choose Remove from the Library. Unwoven passages leave the field, scenes you already took keep their words and their trail, and the original stays in your Archive.
These are three views of one connected record, not three applications. The field changes emphasis rather than moving you to another destination. Detail appears only when you select something, and closing it returns you to the same lens, the same position, and the same focus.

One act makes it yours.
Rather than a thousand small confirmations, one act settles the whole proposal. Correct the field directly, then chooseSave and reweave. Your changes hold, and the Book reweaves around them.
- Read the proposal while it is still visibly a proposal.
- Change anything you disagree with first.
- Save and reweave when it looks like your book.
- Open receipt to see exactly what that act changed.
The receipt itemizes the change and opens its exact entry in the Record. Nothing unsettled can reach Atlas, the Archive, or any later work before you take it.

Memory appears where it can shape the reading in front of you. Teaching never claims Weaver inferred your words, and revising keeps the earlier wording in the Record.

Reading order is the Book’s primary shape. Story Time is a second rail you open when you want to inspect when things happen.

Read order from the writing
Most scenes in a novel never say when they happen. Linnea reads consequence rather than dates, because consequence needs no calendar.
Keep uncertainty as uncertainty
Scenes sharing a loose interval are shown sharing it. A guessed sequence would be a lie with good manners.
Look at the reversals
Where a scene knows something that breaks later, Linnea shows the reversal and the passages that establish it.

Check the chapter split
Headings become the chapter rail. A clean heading structure gives every later intent, hold, and verdict a stable home.
Let the first read finish
Rewriter opens in the vision view and begins reading automatically. Stay on the page while it gathers the manuscript’s voice and shape.
Correct the book before the first rewrite
Edit the vision, voice fingerprint, outline, characters, world, and continuity. These become the contract for the chapter loop.

Five or six paragraphs describe attention, time, pacing, point of view, and the emotional habits already on the page. Click any line to revise it.
Voice fingerprint
The sound a rewrite must hold
Sentence length, rhythm, register, dialogue ratio, and other durable qualities sit beside the vision. Make them specific to this book.
Chapter by chapter
- Open a chapter row and read every intent.
- Click an intent to edit it. Press Enter to save or Esc to leave it as it was.
- Remove an intent that asks the chapter to chase the wrong ambition.
- Order the intents by importance. On a difficult pass, the lowest priority yields first.
- Leave the chapter empty when preservation is the whole assignment.

Choose Look at this to ask for the smallest mend. Accept keeps the proposal. Try a different read asks again. Disagree, not a seam clears the local finding. Defer returns it to the vision. When a chapter is settled, Mark chapter done rereads the book around it. A small ring on the chapter rail marks kept chapters still waiting for that continuity read.
Kaizen Rewriter · The rewrite loop
Two panes. One verdict.
The original stays on the left. The rewrite streams on the right. A small plan pill names the scale before the prose arrives: preservation, minor, or substantive.
Plan
The tactician sees the chapter, intents, and holds, then picks the smallest useful move.
Write
The prose follows that plan while carrying the vision, voice fingerprint, and dictionary.
Read
The supervisor reads the result fresh and anchors up to three findings to the chapter.
Decide
PASS keeps the result ready for you. REVISE lowers the load by dropping the least important intent and runs again.

Select prose in either pane. Choose Hold to… for a fact or constraint that every later pass must respect. Choose Voice note… for a line-level instruction the next chapter pass should hear.

Paste works well for one chapter. Upload .txt, .md, or .docx for a manuscript. Import a .json suite bundle when the draft came from Weaver or Rewriter.
Open in reader
R/W detects the book’s sections, then opens a Contents page before the reading begins.
Return through Recents
Reopen a local manuscript from the landing. Its marks, edits, dictionary, passes, and reading history return with it.

The letters change color when a passage wants attention.
Marks stay inside the prose. Open one to see the category, passage, and reason. A quieter confidence is held more loosely, then your choices teach later reads where to be certain.

Teach well
A useful constraint explains the choice in a way a later scan can apply. Voice entries describe how the prose moves, so future Writes can sound closer to the manuscript. Conditional rules can narrow an entry to one point of view, a chapter range, or a scene type.
Mark the text yourself
Select a passage. Choose Ask AI for a focused read, Later to place it in the Queue without a Read, or Voice to make it part of a point-of-view baseline. Your mark takes priority on the same text.
After a change
Both AI and manual edits share a three-level undo stack. A gold margin bar marks revised paragraphs. Apply surfaces a short continuity summary from the notebook. A manual edit can also offer Run Ripple Scan for a fresh chapter read that looks for consequences of the change.

Choose Import → Beta reader feedback and open a commented .docx. Preview the incoming notes, then commit them as marks.
Recover a prior export
Import an earlier R/W .docx to recover its marks. Recent edits gathers every accepted revision in one list.

Export a voice profile with dictionary entries, categories, and point-of-view baselines when the next book needs the same reading memory.

Drive backup covers Rewriter and R/W. The manuscript lives in your Google Drive, and Kaizen keeps only the connection needed to reach the files it saves for you.

Save or restore
Free includes Save to your Drive now and Restore from your Drive. The first save begins the book’s Drive history.

Pro can turn on automatic sync. The open book saves quietly as the work changes and again when a device opens it.
Use Recovery and history
Open the current Drive copy, kept Drive revisions, and local named snapshots. Choose Restore only after checking the title and time.

The app sends me back to sign up.
Weaver activates with Google sign in or a passwordless email link, on the browser where you plan to work. Signing out clears the account session only. Your local writing stays where it is.
My manuscript is missing on another device.
Weaver keeps your work in the browser you wrote it in, so it does not follow you to another device on its own. Export the complete Archive on the first device and restore it on the second.
The chapter split looks wrong.
In R/W, use Contents to rename, move, join, divide, or set aside sections before Start reading. In Rewriter, make the chapter headings clearer in the source and bring the manuscript in again.
A Read or Write stopped midway.
Your local manuscript remains in place. Check the connection, reopen the panel, and try the action again. If the monthly allowance is spent, switch to your own key or wait for the next period.
The dictionary is making a strange choice.
Open the entry and narrow its scope. A point of view, chapter range, scene, or app-specific phrasing can keep a true note from becoming too broad.
Drive found two versions.
Read the version names and times. Keep this version makes the current device canonical. Use the other version restores Drive. Keep both preserves the fork in history.
I want to undo a large change.
Use the immediate undo stack first. For an older state, open Recovery and history or a named snapshot, then confirm the version before Restore.
I want to clear Weaver and start again.
Open Book context above the field and choose Start over on this browser. It lands on What starting over means in the Record, which names what a reset deletes and what survives before anything happens. One source can leave without a reset: open it from Library and choose Remove from the Library.
